Bridgestone, Toyo Tire USA announce price hikes

Bridgestone Japan will hike prices by 3-8% and Toyo Tire will raise prices by up to 5%

Tiremaker Bridgestone Japan has announced its decision to raise its aftermarket tire pricing from 1 September due to increasing crude oil pricing under the Russia - Ukraine conflict as well as increases in other energy related costs, according to a press release dated 24 June. The increase will be from 3% - 8% for summer and winter replacement tires, according to the release. This is the company’s second price increase after 1 April.
