US House subcommittee advances REPAIR Act to the full committee

The Bipartisan REPAIR Act aims to grant independent repair shops access to vehicle data

The Auto Care Association, a US-based industry body representing independent manufacturers, distributors and repair shops, announced that the US House of Representatives' Committee on Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade has decided to forward the Right to Equitable and Professional Auto Industry Repair (REPAIR) Act (H.R. 1566) to the full Committee for consideration.
