Bridgestone to expand production capacity for passenger car tires in Japan

Move to increase capacity by around 6,200 tires per day (or over 10% of current capacity) in 2025.

Japanese tire manufacturer Bridgestone Corporation announced via press release on 3 February that it will expand the production capacity of premium tires for passenger cars at its Tochigi, Hikone, Hofu, and Tosu plants in Japan. The construction will start in the first quarter of 2022.
