CATL partners with Car Inc. for large-scale battery swapping in China

The company says that the collaboration focuses on creating a sustainable e-mobility ecosystem, integrating battery swapping with car rental and financial services

Chinese battery-maker Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL), alongside its battery-swapping division, CAES, has entered into a partnership with Car Inc. and CMB Financial Leasing in Ningde, China, to implement large-scale battery swapping in the car rental sector.
