Lumileds has introduced the LUXEON Altilon SMD-A, designed for automotive headlighting applications such as front fog, low and high beam, and adaptive driving beam (ADB). The company says this LED is the thinnest single-chip addressable LED, featuring a package design compatible with Al-IMS, ensuring cost-efficient reflow soldering robustness.
