Castrol launches transmission fluid for wet e-motor drivetrains

The new synthetic fluid targets improved efficiency, thermal stability and electrical protection to enhance the durability and performance of electric vehicle drivetrain components

Castrol has introduced ON EV Transmission Fluid W3, a full synthetic electric vehicle transmission fluid that the company claims can extend the life of the drivetrain system and help EVs travel farther on a single charge than mass-market EV factory-fill fluid.
