Mann-Filter expands its portfolio of aftermarket filters that use plant-based raw material
The updated portfolio more than doubles available products, covering 120 million European cars for air filters and 35 million for oil, with rollout starting in May
Mann-Filter, a brand of the Mann+Hummel Group, is expanding its aftermarket range of lignin-based media filters, adding more air and oil filters after introducing its first CO₂-reduced filters last year. Lignin-based media are sustainable, eco-friendly materials that use lignin, a natural, complex polymer found in wood and plant cell walls, as a renewable alternative to fossil-based resins and plastics.
