Topdon USA enhances diagnostic support for technicians to help reduce vehicle theft

The company said the move comes as vehicle theft methods increasingly involve diagnostic equipment, aftermarket scan tools and immobilizer functions

Topdon, a US-based provider of tools and solutions for professional technicians and do-it-yourself (DIY) enthusiasts, announced that it has added support for the National Automotive Service Task Force's Secure Data Release Model, a voluntary program intended to limit access to sensitive vehicle-security operations.
