Motorcar Parts of America acquires Centric Parts brake brands from First Brands Group

The Chapter 11 sale covers Centric Parts, Posi Quiet, StopTech, C-TEK and GCX assets, with supplier-level sales estimated at $400 million

Motorcar Parts of America (MPA), a US-based remanufacturer, manufacturer and distributor of automotive aftermarket parts, has acquired the intellectual and digital property associated with the Centric Parts brake brands from First Brands Group through its Chapter 11 bankruptcy process.
