Continental agrees to sell ContiTech industrial business to Lone Star Funds for €4 billion
The deal includes performance-based payments of up to €250 million in subsequent years and remains subject to regulatory approval
On July 4, Continental announced that it had agreed to sell its ContiTech industrial business to an affiliate of Lone Star Funds for €4 billion, completing a restructuring that will leave the German company a pure-play tire manufacturer.
