Australian aftermarket body calls for telematics data access in Australian repair reforms

The group says connected vehicles generate data needed for diagnosis, maintenance and repair, but current right-to-repair laws exclude telematics data

The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association has called on the Australian government to add repair and maintenance telematics data access to proposed reforms of the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Information Sharing Scheme (MVIS).
