Standard Motor Products appoints new COO

James Burke shifts to executive advisor and board role while Sunil Bhandari assumes global operational responsibilities at the automotive parts company from June 2026

Standard Motor Products has announced that James Burke will step down from his role as COO, effective June 1, 2026, and will assume the role of Executive Advisor while remaining a member of the Board of Directors. Burke has been with SMP for 47 years.
