The association observed that while Australia’s Right to Repair law has been a significant reform, the review presents an important opportunity to ensure the scheme keeps pace with increasingly connected and software-defined vehicles

The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association has urged the Treasury to expand Australia's Right to Repair laws to cover vehicles with a GVM up to 4.5 metric tons and agricultural machinery.
